Vocational Services

We offer the Pathway to Adulthood Programme, accredited by NOCN, to help young people develop personal independence and prepare for adult life.

Programme Focus

The programme is built around four key areas:

  • Employment – develop work skills and understanding of workplaces to prepare for meaningful opportunities.
  • Good Health – promote wellbeing, self-care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Independent Living – build essential life skills such as travel training, budgeting, cooking, and using public services.
  • Community Inclusion – encourage social participation, friendships, and engagement in the wider community.

How the Programme Works

  • Individualised learning – activities and goals are tailored to each student’s strengths, interests, and aspirations.
  • Practical skills development – learners gain hands-on experience in real-life contexts.
  • English and Maths support – integrated where appropriate to help learners progress academically.
  • Goal-focused outcomes – students work towards meaningful, achievable long-term goals.

Activities may include volunteering, travel training, organisational skills, or learning to navigate public services.

Transition Planning

Transition Planning

Every learner has a personalised transition plan, created in partnership with schools, local authorities, and families. Plans bring together education, health, and care needs to ensure a coordinated, practical approach.

Progress is monitored against agreed learning objectives, helping students gain independence, confidence, and life skills that will support a smooth move into adulthood.

Our aim: to give young people the skills, experiences, and confidence to achieve their goals and thrive as they move into adult life.
